HTML Foundations for Designers
Learn semantic HTML5 elements and document structure that
directly supports your design work. We cover how markup affects
accessibility, responsive behavior, and SEO—so you understand
why structure matters as much as aesthetics. You’ll learn forms,
meta tags, and the hidden foundation that makes great designs
actually work on the web.
CSS Layout & Responsive Design
Master CSS Grid and Flexbox—the modern layout tools that replace
old float hacks. We teach mobile-first thinking, media queries,
and how to make designs that actually look good on phones,
tablets, and desktops. Real projects, real breakpoints, real
solutions to the layout problems you face in design work.
Styling, Typography & Animation
Control color, spacing, and type with CSS properties. We dive
into typography scales, contrast requirements for accessibility,
and smooth animations that enhance rather than distract. Learn
how to style form inputs, manage hover states, and create
micro-interactions that bring your designs to life without
relying on JavaScript.
Design-to-Code Collaboration
Work more effectively with developers. We teach you the language
developers speak, how to prepare design files for handoff, and
how to communicate about layout, spacing, and interaction
timing. Sessions are 90 minutes, twice weekly, with time for
questions and real project feedback.
